President Donald Trump on Monday blasted “Dumocrats, RINOS, and Fools” who have criticized a potential deal with Iran, and he guaranteed that any eventual agreement “will either be a great and meaningful one, or there will be no deal.” In a Truth Social post, Trump dismissed critics of his administration’s ongoing negotiations with Tehran, arguing they know “nothing about the potential deal” because details are still being worked out.
“The deal with Iran will either be a great and meaningful one, or there will be no deal,” Trump wrote. “It will be the exact opposite of the JCPOA disaster negotiated by the failed Obama Administration.” Trump also took aim at several Republican critics by name, including Sens. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., Bill Cassidy, R-La., and Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., accusing them of disloyalty and weakness while arguing he could secure a stronger agreement than previous administrations. The president reiterated that he would never support an arrangement resembling the Obama-era Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which conservatives have long condemned as a giveaway to the Iranian regime.
