President Trump on Tuesday confirmed to reporters at the White House that Ilhan Omar could go to jail for fraud while slamming her as a “sick, very dishonest person who hates our country.” Trump also took aim at her home country of Somalia, calling it “a real sh*t house.” Omar’s home in Washington, DC, was raided last week in an ongoing criminal fraud investigation into her immigration paperwork and possible financial crimes.
Asked by The Gateway Pundit last week if he personally wants to see Omar’s deportation, Trump said, “I don’t take a position.” “I think she’s a terrible person. I think she’s a terrible congresswoman,” he said. “I don’t think she loves our country at all, but I don’t take a position.” But now, as the investigation heats up, Trump is not holding back his thoughts on the criminal fraudster. Trump was asked about Omar on Tuesday during an Oval Office press conference about the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud’s new Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program. “If there is a problem with Ilhan Omar’s age, could she be deported?” a reporter asked. Trump responded, “Well, she could be. She could also go to jail. She could also go to jail. You know, they keep talking about deportation. No, she could go to jail.”
