A college lacrosse player was being held hostage at knifepoint when police arrived and shot the athlete five times and tased him – mistaking him for his drug-addicted brother, according to a new lawsuit.

Dramatic video shows Maverick Lyon, 21, keeled over and bleeding on the ground in the backyard of his family home in North Albany, Oregon, moaning, “You guys got the wrong guy — he was holding me hostage,” after cops opened fire, the Oregonian reported.

The officers then rolled him over and placed him in handcuffs, the graphic video shows.

Maverick, who played lacrosse at St. Anselm’s College in New Hampshire, had fled out the back door on Jan. 6 after his drug-impaired brother, Dakota Lyon, who had recently been released from prison, had held him at knifepoint.
