JUST IN: Senate Votes 54-45 to Confirm Markwayne Mullin as DHS Chief – One Republican Votes No

The Senate on Monday evening voted 54-45 to confirm Markwayne Mullin as the next Department of Homeland Security Secretary. GOP Senator Rand Paul voted “no” again on Monday. Rand Paul voted no in every procedural vote leading up to Monday’s final floor vote. Democrat Senators John Fetterman and Martin Heinrich voted yes. Democrat Senator Ruben Gallego didn’t vote.
