An illegal alien from Nicaragua has been arrested in Green Bay, Wisconsin, after he entered his ex-girlfriend’s home and savagely attacked her and her new boyfriend with a machete on Monday.
David Joel Mairena-Garcia, 29, faces two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide plus additional charges after the brutal attack that left both victims seriously injured. Police say Mairena-Garcia used a key to enter the home and immediately began attacking the victims with a machete without saying a word.
Mairena-Garcia later admitted he “just wanted to kill them.” The victims, a 26-year-old woman with whom he has a child and a 23-year-old man from Green Bay, both suffered machete wounds and were hospitalized following the attack.
