The IDF struck approximately 40 weapon production sites across Tehran over the previous two days, the military announced on Monday. According to the military’s statement, over 80 munitions were dropped on weapon production, research, and development sites responsible for creating weapons used to attack Israel. Among the sites targeted were facilities that assembled and manufactured long-range surface-to-air missiles, components for anti-tank and small anti-aircraft missiles, and ballistic missile engines.

The IDF also announced on Monday that it had struck several pieces of IRGC infrastructure located within Imam Hossein University, a primary military institution for the regime. According to the IDF, the university had been used as civilian cover for a variety of military goals, including the development and research of advanced weaponry. Among the targets struck during the attack on the university were wind tunnels used for the testing of ballistic missiles, the university’s chemical center used for the development of chemical weapons, and the technology and engineering center of the mechanics and development group.
