U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced the charges Monday. The federal offense carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

According to the criminal complaint, on June 18, 2026, a U.S. Secret Service agent on duty at Donald Trump Jr.’s residence was alerted to multiple threats made in the live chat of Trump Jr.’s podcast, “Triggered with Donald Trump Jr.”
