Defeated Texas Senator John Cornyn just made it official: the establishment swamp he represents would rather side with Democrats than with the MAGA voters who finally sent him packing. On Wednesday night, the outgoing RINO senator posted a Wall Street Journal opinion piece by fellow Bush-era operative Karl Rove titled “Why I’m Voting for a Texas Democrat.” Then Cornyn doubled down, quoting Rove’s line: “The GOP’s stables need a cleaning. This is a good place to start.”
