A possible terrorist attack has unfolded in New York City this morning, and the issue of immigration is likely at the center of it. The attack occurred at roughly 8:30 AM. 26 Federal Plaza is the Jacob K. Javits Federal Office Building. This building houses three important federal agencies related to immigration: U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR / Immigration Court), and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
