It was a miracle on the highway. Wild video shows a small plane making an emergency landing in the middle of highway traffic in Canada on Thursday. The dashcam footage from a vehicle on Highway 40 in Quebec City shows the Piper PA-28 Cherokee touching down between cars around 10:30 a.m., as traffic slows behind it.

No one was injured in the incident, which took place near Jean-Lesage International Airport, the CBC reported. Police said a mechanical problem had forced the pilot to make the surprise landing
