NEW YORK POST – JOE TACOPINO
The Florida school shooter had obtained 10 rifles in the year before he went on his killing spree, a report said on Tuesday.
A law enforcement source told CNN that Nikolas Cruz had gotten possession of the firearms and authorities were trying to track down where they all came from.
Two of the weapons were purchased from Gun World of South Florida in Deerfield Beach, CNN reported.
But the store’s owner would not provide the network with any details besides saying that the sales followed “normal protocol.”
The information comes to light as debate continues on whether Cruz, who suffered from mental health issues, should have been able to purchase firearms.
Cruz killed 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last week when he opened fire with a semi-automatic weapon.
