NEW YORK POST – RUTH BROWN
Florida Gov. Rick Scott is demanding the FBI release all records surrounding its its failure to act on a tip about school shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz.
“The FBI should release all records involving this terrible error,” Scott said in a statement Monday. “People in Washington tend to want to investigate, hold hearings and put off what truly needs to be done. Instead, someone needs to be held accountable.”
Scott already called on FBI Director Christopher Wray to resign last week, after the top G-man made the stunning admission that his agency hadn’t bothered to investigate a call to its tipline saying that Cruz was an armed nutjob who might shoot up a school.
