FBI allegedly wiretapped Paul Manafort before, after election

Federal investigators wiretapped President Trump’s ex-chief of staff Paul Manafort, it was revealed on Monday, as new details of the July pre-dawn raid on on the Trump aide’s home became public.

The feds had wiretapped Manafort before and after the 2016 presidential election, capturing conversations he had with President Trump along with conversations that allude to coordination with Russia, CNN reported.

The FBI obtained a warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court as part of the probe into ties between the Trump campaign and Russian operatives.
