College Park joins six other towns in allowing legal permanent residents and undocumented immigrants to vote in municipal elections.

The council’s vote on this issue was supposed to happen back in August, but it was postponed due to threats made to council members over the proposal.

It was a very contentious debate inside College Park City Hall as almost two dozen people signed up to speak on the matter during Tuesday night’s meeting.

  1. What a crock!! The radical left agenda moving foward, the media the voting the government anything else this cancer wants control of? I’m getting sick of sanctuary cities not following the travel ban to article’s like this about illegal immigrant voting. Just so these democraps can get voted in year after year ex: Pelosi and Schumer. If President Trump doesn’t drain this awful stenched swamp, Donald there will be a Revolution of Eddie’s & Ediths. The leftist vermin are arrogant obstructionist and must be stopped!

  2. Aren’t there any patriots with money that can file a lawsuit ?
Or even the white house ?
Certainly the republicans (GOPe) won’t have a problem with it. They want voter fraud and they want the democraps to win.

  3. I live in Maryland. I lived outside Baltimore for decades. Now I’m right outside D.C. in Bethesda. The dregs that drag this state down live in Baltimore and around the D.C. suburbs. The street criminal rioters live in Baltimore and most of the sympathizing enablers live around D.C. suburbs to use their voting numbers to keep Maryland sick.

The rest of the state is full of normal, Middle of the road to right leaning people. It is no surprise another statue in Baltimore was vandalized and municipal councils want non-citizens to vote.

    Wake up Maryland.

  4. The Constitution establishes the states as the authority over elections. It may be a violation of Maryland law

A federal voter ID law would create a new federal power. However it could be justified by the purpose of cross referencing voter rolls which only the federal government could be construed as authorized to do.

The Dem’s say multistate voters are a nonexistent problem along with the rest of voter fraud.

  5. Why dont we just make Mexico into the fifty-first state of the union (unofficially, they already are) and get it over with. If the politicians have their say, they will give all undocumented Mexicans and Central Americans the right to vote…and have a say in the running of this country. If the democrats (and republicans?) could get rid of all us and replace us with non-US citizens, they would. The only purpose American citizens serve is to provide the government with the money they need to run this country into the ground.

  6. For a large campaign contribution to the demonrat party, can they vote more than once? Can they get an absentee ballot to use in another person’s name? Are dead people forbidden to vote if they’re buried outside the city limits?

  7. Big freakin’ deal. They’re already voting in all local, state, & federal elections, early & often. They probably vote in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware too. You could cover all three states in less than an hour from Maryland. Sorros will take care of the bus fare, you’ll get a nice box lunch too.

  8. This is a crime against our republic. I doesn’t matter that this is a city-level election. It is a crime against our republic, and those responsible for coordinating the election should be arrested.
